Overview
Golf Grand Slam (GGS) is a salary cap golf pool built around the four major championships. Compete against friends by drafting a team of golfers, staying under the cap, and posting the lowest cumulative score.

About Data Golf
Data Golf is a leading golf analytics platform founded by Matt and Will Courchene. It provides advanced statistical modeling, rankings, and betting insights. GGS participants can access Data Golf tools via the Research page.
Team Construction

Scoring Format
Team Score
Your score is the combined total of your best 6 golfers. Your worst score is dropped.
Missed Cut / WD / DQ Rule
If a golfer withdraws, is disqualified, or misses the cut, their score is calculated as the highest score recorded that day by any golfer in the pool + 1 penalty stroke. This applies for each remaining round.
Bonus Strokes
Players finishing in the Top 10 receive bonus strokes:
• 1st Place: -4
• Top 5: -2
• Top 10: -1
Bonuses are applied after final scores are calculated.

• The winner is the team with the lowest total score over 4 rounds
• First tiebreaker goes to the team with lowest scoring dropped golfer. The second tiebreaker is the lowest final round team score (excluding bonus strokes).

GGS Cup (Season Competition)
The GGS Cup is a season-long competition tied to all four majors.
Points System
Teams earn points based on their finish in each major. Example: 1st place = 150 points. Every participant earns at least 1 point. Points accumulate across all four majors.
Qualification
Top 25% of teams qualify for the GGS Cup Championship. Qualification is automatic and free.
Championship
Held during the FedEx Tour Championship. Scoring is the same as the Majors.
Winner receives a Virtual GGS Cup Trophy and cash prize. Additional prizes awarded to top 3–6 teams depending on pool size.

• GGS Cup Championship: 15%
• Top 2 Overall (Season Points): 8%
• Operating Costs: 9%
Operating costs cover platform development, maintenance, and payment processing. If costs are lower than expected, additional funds may be allocated to prizes or future enhancements.
